Use iPerf3 To Test Network Bandwidth
iPerf3
iPerf3 tests the bandwidth between any two networked computers to determine if the available bandwidth is large enough to support the transmission of an application.
iPerf3 is built on a client-server model and measures maximum User Datagram Protocol, TCP and Stream Control Transmission Protocol throughput between client and server stations. It can also be used to measure LAN and wireless LAN throughput.
docker
I will use docker to run iPerf3. Here is the docker repo:
https://hub.docker.com/r/networkstatic/iperf3
Server Side
run this command and listen service on port 5201
1
docker run -it --rm --name=iperf3-server -p 5201:5201 networkstatic/iperf3 -s
Then will show:

Client Side
Type your server’s ip after the flag -c
1
docker run -it --rm networkstatic/iperf3 -c 192.168.1.99
